THE DOING
Learning to navigate the dissonance of operating within extractive, oppressive systems while also working towards their dissolution has been a central teaching in my life. Much of my adult life has been an unraveling and reweaving process, and explorations (including courses, certificates and educational programming) in decolonial shadow work, embodied social justice, meditation instruction, Dharma studies, and ancestral recovery have shepherded that journey.
Throughout the years, I’ve moved through various “professions,” including acting, journalism, modeling, nonprofit work, production, and service industry labor. I currently serve as a Study Corps Facilitator at the Strother School of Radical Attention, supporting individuals and cohorts in practicing deep, contemplative, liberatory forms of attention. I also write for SoRA’s Visions of Attention initiative.
My work also spans freelance writing, facilitation, creative consulting, mindfulness-oriented shepherding, and (occasionally) acting. This can look like:
Guiding individuals and teams through reflective, creative, values-aligned processes that surface intuition, clarify purpose, and illuminate the unconscious patterns shaping work, art, and relationship.
Consulting on projects that bridge consciousness, justice, and story – including developmental editing, conceptual framing, narrative strategy, and mission-aligned creative direction.
Helping people explore the mythic and psychological undercurrents at play in their careers, collaborations, dreams, and lives – offering grounded, compassionate support that blends attention practice, narrative insight, and practical next steps.
Weaving research and language for people who need their ideas brought into coherence, from essays and speeches to grant materials, campaigns, reports, and longform narrative work.
Facilitating spaces for inquiry, imagination, and attention – workshops, study cohorts, community conversations, gatherings, and sessions that invite depth, presence, and shared meaning-making.
Providing administrative, operational, and project management support with a steady, grounded approach – structuring timelines, building systems, coordinating communications, and keeping multi-part projects aligned.
Supporting event planning and production, from concept and thematic framing to run-of-show design, guest coordination, and on-the-ground supervision and logistics.
Building and sustaining thoughtful client relationships, offering clear communication, attuned support, and a blend of emotional intelligence and practical competence.
Writing essays, analyses, and narrative work across genres, with an emphasis on the intersections of consciousness, liberation, psychology, myth, and culture.
Collaborating with advocacy groups, mutual aid projects, and justice-oriented organizations, using writing, coordination, outreach, and strategic support to advance community-centered work.
